Believers have a legal, sovereign right to declare what is, and expect it will happen.
If We Don’t Stand in Our God-Given Authority, We’ll Fall for Anything
Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you” (Luke 10:19)
Because you are in Christ, you have the “power of attorney” to use the Name of Jesus. This gives you access to the same authority over the earthly realm that Jesus has, but it’s important to know that spiritual authority remains inactive until we give voice to all of God’s Promises.
The confidence to believe, the faith to receive, and the power to make mountains move all rest in being a King’s Kid. That is God-given authority the enemy can’t take from us. The Bible is the absolute, final authority and the “operations handbook” for the believer. There is no reason not to believe in the authority provided to us by God Almighty.
As many believers have heard before, “God said it. I believe it. That settles it.”
